Abstract
The term, Philosociomic was coined by the writers to represent philosophy, sociology and economic implications in the deployment of Information and Communication Technology in the provision of Open and Distance Learning. The main thrust of this paper was the attainment of the goals of education in Nigeria philosophically, sociologically and economically as listed in NPE, through ODL, delivery system dominated by ICT.
